The People

Now that the wall was complete (Neh. 6), Nehemiah turned his attention to repopulating and revitalizing the city of Jerusalem. A city is more than walls, gates and houses - a city is people. In the first half of the book, the people existed for the walls, but now the walls must exist for the people.
