What does it profit a man?

We often ask "What might I gain?" Jesus asked "What might you lose while gaining it?" The world measures success by possessions, achievements and popularity. Jesus measures it by whether we know Him, follow Him, and are prepared for eternity.

1. Follow Jesus above yourself (v. 34).

2. Value your soul above the world (v. 35-37).

3. Choose Christ above the approval of the world (v. 38).

The ultimate question is not, "What do you have?", but "Who has you?"
